vectors
So i get all my photos off of my facebook cause its just easier than taking them myself right now and my football pictures are the only ones that have me moving. But, this shows vectors because it shows magnitude and direction. Magnitude or "muchness" is showed by the speed im running (which is super duper fast). I am heading in a certain direction which means this picture shows vectors. I am now currently up to date with all my blog posts but for some reasons it says i have 4 of the missing. So, mr. blake when you read this immediately go on your computer and input all my grades. thanks.

Im not even sure if this is late or not
I have learned about acceleration and velocity over time. We did a lab as a group that showed the velocity and acceleration of a ball at its highest point. I learned that acceleration at the top of its trajectory is 9.8 m/s or "g" downward. This is because even though the ball is coming to a stop, it has to accelerate in the other direction to slow down. This is why it is 9.8 m/s, because the gravity is accelerating the ball back towards earth. I also learned that if you throw something up and catch it at the same place, the velocity will be the same but in the other direction. As i drop this baton, it is picking up speed from the acceleration of gravity. if i had thrown it in the air and caught it the same place, it would of had the same velocity.
a little bit late
I mean to do this post last week but i forgot. For this post i decided to talk about acceleration. Acceleration is the change in velocity per unit of time. I choose a picture of me and my friend playing on the beach. In this picture he is accelerating faster than I am and i'm unable to catch him. He is increasing his speed at a constant rate while mine is staying the same. This means i have an acceleration of 0. Constant speed is zero acceleration because acceleration only counts the change of speed. Another good example is gravity which accelerates at 9.8 m/s.
Really late
This post is about three weeks late, and i don't really recall what we were suppose to be talking about. So i will be talking about velocity. Velocity is how fast something is traveling and in which direction. It is distance over time. I choose a picture of me playing football because i am traveling backwards at roughly 1m/second. This shows my velocity which is very low. If someone comes towards me at 100m/second i will not be in a good place. I will probably get destroyed and everyone will laugh at me.
