1st blog post of the semester
I was suppose to blgo on what i learned so far in physics. Honestly the main thing i learned in physics this year is that everything i do in life has some sort of physics related thing in it. from running and jumping and things of that. to solving equations with the math i learned. Everything has Physics tied into it somewhere. Even in this picture of me backing up a little bit not doing anything there is physics. There is work put in to me moving and that velocity times seconds will give me the distance i will travel. Little things like that make me realize that physics is all around us.

This week we learned that things have charges and that is why magnets are able to stay attached to metal like your fridge. These charges are in everything and when two things have different charges they try to share the electrons to become the same. This is why when you rub your feet on the ground and gain a charge, you can shock people. The change of electrons causes an electrical shock of some sort.

So this week we got into how forces attract and repel each other. Like magnets and stuff like that, but more electrons. Electrons are like little magnets and the way they are positioned and there charge determnines there shape. This girl that i am with in my picture actually isnt attracted to me, me and her actually used to repel each other. But over time and a lot of work, i got her to be attracted to me. haha so in the end i win.

This week we learned about electrical potential energy. please do not pay attention to the ridiculous outfits we are wearing. It was halloweeen at school, so yea. But anyways, If you look in the lower left hand corner you see a laptop charger that is plugged into a socket. This socket has a 120 volts, This is its electrical potential energy. Everything that has electricity has some sort of electrical potential energy.
last week of januaryish
Ok so this week i think we learned about capacitance. Capacitance is a short term energy storage. It stores a lot of voltage but does not have a lot of charge. When looking through my facebook pictures ( this is my only source of pictures i took or can use ) i found a picture of Hayden "Swollen" Wills. He is the opposite of Capacitance. He is small so you would think he stores a little ammount of voltage, but his charge is huge and pretty much kills anyone in his way. That guy in front of him was defensive player of the year i think. He is about to be murdered. call the police.

i didnt go to class today, i signed my letter of intent. but, I learned that school is more important than football because one day i wont play anymore, and even though that day is not today, it will be over soon. I missed class and didnt learn a lot of stuff and because of that i might fail this quater. ( not good ) I really need good grades and stuff so im going to try harder to fight the senioritius and start learning and paying attention in class more.

This week we were suppose to bring in our electric bill to class. My bill was unreal high, and when i asked my mom them if i could help bring down that price they were all for that. So i suggested that we turn off our heater when we arent going to use it as well as turn off unnecsary things such as fans and stuff that run all day. Hopefully this will help lower the bill enough to give me a good profit. I need it cause im broke as hell right now. im so broke i sleep in a hamock that i share with my roomate i got off of craigs list...
