blog post 3

We are still learning about newtons laws, and fnet problems. but we learned about tension problems with pulley's and things like that. i didn't know what to post a picture of, so i took a picture of a rope. This rope has tension and if it were on a pully both of the tensions would be the same. One rope=One tension.

this week we learned the only problem that matters in this section of physics. fnet=ma. This equation helped me to solve a lot of basic problems and will continue to help me in the future. In this picture the player approaching me is  accelerating past me. I am standing still which makes his fnet greater than mine. My friend took this photo and i dont really know what else to say about this subject. but i need to write a little more to get the full 100 word minimum.

blog post 1

We learned this week about the newton laws. The first newton law we learned about was that objects at rest will tend to stay at rest unless acted upon by an outside force. The picture i choose is of chips on a craps table. The chips are at rest and will stay at rest until something comes along and moves them. Like for example if the dice hits them or if someone picks them up. Also, i won that game jus to let everyone know.

this week we learned about 2d kinematics. This is when your moving both downward and in another direction. This causes the trajectory to be more of a parabolic shape. We learned how to solve these 2d kinematic problems by using a y and a x axis. This picture shows me jumping both out and away from the rock. This represents 2d kinematics and is a good way to show this subject.

measurements blogpost 2

This is a very late blog post but during this week of physics we learned about measurements. Measurements help us get an accurate reading on things in length, weight, and time. The measurements of length are centimeters, meters, and kilometers. the measurements for weight are gram and kilogram. The measurements for time are seconds. I choose the picture or my dog star because she is 1 meter and a half long. I measured her after taking this picture.
