Momentum is the product of mass and velocity. Momentum in = momentum out. This means that momentum can never be diminished. it always finishes what it starts out at. In this picture the kamehameha helmet has a momentum of zero. So, if there was a grenade under it, and it exploded into a million pieces, the momentum would still be zero. Zero momentum because if you add up all the pieces, they would equal out to zero.
