I thought our design was good. We had a crumple zone at the bottom along with feathers and crumpled tissue paper to lengthen the impact time with the cement. We had wings attached to the sides to slow down so the force is not as great. we also had the egg inside a little baggie filled with feathers. If the device fell like it is in the picture, we might of had a chance. During the fall the device was flipped over and the egg was smashed. We did not apply for wind variation and next time would make the device a lot different. overall the idea was good and should work in the future if it falls like the way we planned it.
